After turning in the second-fastest time in the mile run on the opening weekend of the Division III season, junior Grady Ward earned his first career UAA Athlete of the Week honor.

Senior Jarret Harrigan set a collegiate best as one of five Brandeis runners to finish in the top three, along with Mitchell Hutton (2nd, 3K), Mo Sidique (3rd, 800,), Grady Ward (3rd, mile) and Lydia McCaleb (3rd, 3K).

Brandeis senior Jarret Harrigan was profiled in the Ipswich Chronicle prior to the New England Division III Regionals at Williams last weekend.

Junior Kelsey Whitaker finished in 210th place at the 2014 NCAA Division III Cross Country Championships with a time of 24:07.6.

After placing 18th overall, junior Kelsey Whitaker will return to her second national cross country meet and third overall. Brandeis was 13th as a team.

Jarret Harrigan placed 45th, but there was a spread of just 33 seconds between him and Judges' fourth runner as the squad showed a 150-point improvement.

The senior Jarret Harrigan had a lifetime best at the conference championships by finishing in 32nd place with a time of 26:16.69

Sophomore Lydia McCaleb had her best race of the season, improving her career-best at 6K by 41 seconds.

The Judges were sixth out of 19 teams thanks to Maddie Dolins' second-straight All-Invitational performance.
